Sal Tavakoly

Sal comes to SweatBox with a lifelong passion for health & fitness. Sal’s interest in wellness grew into a true calling after studying Nursing at York College, and working as a Cardiac Care RN. He has been teaching group fitness in the DC area for 7 years. Sal was driven to become a coach after an inspirational instructor motivated him to make the jump from trainee to trainer! His expertise spans everything from cycling to HIIT, and his objective is to help YOU reach your health goals! His favorite way to keep his classes motivated is through a killer playlist – he has found that the right mix of upbeat music can truly help you push through even the most intense workouts.
