Unlimited SweatBox clients have full access to VIDA’s amenities, including showers, towels, steam room, sauna, and bath and body products, including shampoo, conditioner, body scrub, shower gel, body lotion, deodorant, hairspray, hair ties, razors, and shower caps. VIDA’s locker rooms are also equipped with hair dryers and lighted mirrors.
You can store your belongings in one of our lockers just outside the studio. Each is equipped with its own lock, so you don’t need to bring your own.
Our U Street studio offers plenty of street parking, though clients should observe posted signage to avoid tickets. The Ballston studio has validated garage parking at a rate of $1 for up to 3 hours.
You should bring a reusable water bottle to take advantage of complimentary fill stations featuring cool or room temperature water. There are also a handful of hydration options available for purchase at the VIDA Fuel Bar.
Absolutely! Registered dietitians curated the Fuel Bar’s diverse menu of smoothies and snacks to serve you before, during, and after class.
We allow walk-ins if space is available, but you’ll still need to download the SweatBox app to create your account and purchase a trial or package when you arrive. If you arrive to a sold-out class and someone who registered in advance does not show up by the class start time, you’ll get to snag the spot.
You have to cancel at least 12 hours in advance to avoid a penalty. Package holders will forfeit their session, and Unlimited clients will pay a $15 late cancel fee for cancelling less than 12 hours before class or a $25 no show fee for keeping their reservation and failing to show up.
Up to 15 clients can join the waitlist for a particular class. When a spot becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will automatically be added to class up to 2 hours prior to the class start time. Within that 2-hour window, clients will be notified when a spot is available and given the opportunity to accept or decline.
Each class starts with an extended warm-up on the bike and the floor, followed by alternating bouts of strength training and cardio intervals. You can expect to wrap each workout with a spicy finisher on the bike.
We periodize our programming, so your SweatBoss will let you know how many reps to aim for each week to ensure you’re building strength and progressing your training. In terms of the schedule, you’ll find Full Throttle days deliver a full-body strength training workout, whereas Triple A focuses on the Abs, Arms, and Ass. Push & Pull is all about the chest, back, and shoulders, whereas Conditioning day incorporates longer working sets and biking drills to condition your heart to do more work for longer.
We pride ourselves on offering a stellar workout experience with minimal impact. There will definitely be opportunities to incorporate plyometrics (read: jumping) into your training, but they aren’t required and your SweatBoss will offer alternatives.
Definitely. We offer a challenging workout, but the programming is sound and scalable. We use customizable bikes that allow you to work at your level, and you get to choose how much weight you lift during class. We also use a suspension trainer in most of our workouts, which is easily modified according to the person using it. Just be sure to chat with your SweatBoss before class, so you can get on the same page.
